I want my-italian-teacher.ch to be easy to use for everyone, including people with disabilities and learners with specific learning differences (such as dyslexia).
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements to make web content more accessible. This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA: some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard.
What I do
- I use clear language and a simple page structure.
- My teaching materials follow accessibility principles for learners with specific learning differences: readable sans-serif fonts, left-aligned text, generous line spacing and high contrast.
- The contact form can be used without solving a visual puzzle: spam protection works in the background.
Known limitations
- Some headings on the home page have low colour contrast.
- Some images do not yet have a text description.
- Content from other services (such as Spotify or YouTube players and the booking system) may not be fully accessible, as I do not control it.
I am working to fix these issues.
